WDGA encourages our youth to participate in community activities, both locally and globally. Participants in the United States join with their counterparts in Africa to achieve similar objectives by working through cultural exchanges. Teens collaborate and organize community events in their respective communities.
3Steps2Work Program
- STEP 1 - GET ALONG: Dealing with anger, conflict, personal leadership, and improved relations
- STEP 2 - GET AHEAD: Youth career development, employment, and entrepreneurship
- STEP 3 - CONNECT FAMILY: Stronger family connection and involvement
Workforce Development Global Alliance
WDGA’s 3Steps2Work Signature Program was designed to educate, expose, empower, provide experience and employ the youth in Pitcairn and Homestead. The Program is in NEW SEASON with an glow up [from 2steps2work] and presenting a 2-year program in 2025.
Along with 3steps2work, our affiliate program: Boyz2Mentoring serves youth from Pitcairn, Pittsburgh by connecting them with mentors from the community. Boys 2 mentoring encourages and equips area youth to build healthy relationships, develop passions, contribute to community, and to invest in personal growth. We are looking to revamp and reintroduce Boyz2Mentoring in 2025!
